But which size should I use?

It all depends on the size of the gift you want to wrap in the φουρoshiki, or the final intended use. For your ease of reference we have collected some items and put them against each φουρoshiki size. Err on the side of caution and opt for the larger size if your item falls on the borderline of the size mentioned below.
